Director: Output of Iran's Pars Petrochemical Co. up

In the first six months (March 21-Sept.22, 2019) of the current Iranian year, Iran's Pars Petrochemical Company located in Pars Special Economic Energy Zone in Bushehr province increased output by 10 percent compared to the same period of the previous year, Financial Director at Pars Petrochemical Company Firudin Amiri said, Trend reports via Shana News Agency.

At the same time, the company's sales also increased by 9 percent, the director noted.

The company is expected to keep the current output level in the second half of the year as well, Amiri said.

Pars Petrochemical Company has the potential of producing 4.481 million tons of petrochemicals per year.

These include 1.6 million tons of ethane, 980,000 tonnes of propane, 570,000 tonnes of butane, 86,000 tonnes of gasoline, 645,000 tonnes of ethylbenzol, 600,000 tonnes of styrene and 14,000 tonnes of benzene and toluene.
