More than 1,672 tons of paints and varnishes was produced in Azerbaijan from January through February 2020, or 1.7 times less than in the same period in 2019, Trend reports citing the State Statistics Committee.
Around 22,400 tons of propylene was produced in Azerbaijan from January through February 2020, which is 17.9 percent more than the same period in 2019, reads the report released by the Committee.
During the reporting period, the country produced 27,400 tons of ethylene.
The basic chemical products in Azerbaijan mostly saw a growth in the first two months of 2020.
