Uzbekneftegaz introduces uniform business standards

Uniform standards in the areas of activity and business, and the development of relations between production enterprises and the executive body of Uzbekneftegaz JSC have been agreed, Trend reports referring to the press service of Uzbekneftegaz JSC.

A meeting was held with the aim of bringing to a single standard of practice used to implement functional tasks at enterprises, as well as strengthening the relationship between production enterprises and the executive office of Uzbekneftegaz JSC within the framework of the project "Improving operational efficiency and reliability of production processes".

The event was attended by Ernst & Young specialists, representatives of the Accounting and Corporate Reporting Department, the Finance and Treasury Department, the Procurement Department, the Trade Department, as well as regional managers of the Mubarek Gas Processing Plant and the Mubarek, Shurtan, Gazli, Vodiy oil and gas production departments.

The agenda discussed the issues of unification of accounting processes, the acquisition of material and technical resources, and the sale of finished products at all enterprises of the company.

In addition, the improving of the exchange of data between the executive body and production enterprises, strengthening interaction to ensure transparency of accounting and optimizing the cost of goods produced have been considered at the meeting.

Uzbekneftegaz is a state-owned holding company and the largest state company in Uzbekistan. The company ranks 11th in the world's natural gas production.

At the beginning of 2020, President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev instructed Uzbekneftegaz to thoroughly analyze each field it is operating and ensure the increase in gas production.

Earlier it was reported that it is planned to put into operation five production facilities of Uzbekneftegaz worth $4.1 million within the framework of the State Investment Program.
