Uzbekneftegaz in 2020 produced 180.5 percent of products compared to the plan within the framework of the localization program for 15 projects, Trend reports referring to the press service of Uzbekneftegaz JSC.
According to Uzbekneftegaz, during the implementation of the import substitution program, the effectiveness of reducing product imports in the equivalent of $290 million, and an increase of 18.3 percent compared to the plan, was achieved, including through localization to $243.6 million (21, 7 percent) and expansion of cooperative ties to $46.4 million (3.1 percent).
In addition, a road map was developed for the development of 17 types of products in order to expand cooperation. During the year the development of six types of products was achieved (activated carbon, corrosion inhibitors, heat carrier biocides, chemical reagents for microbiological control, and others).
Furthermore, 1,803 agreements worth 445.6 billion soums ($43 million) were signed to expand cooperative ties based on the “Industry-territory” principle through the Single Portal of Electronic Cooperation.
Also, the purchased products and services were sold in 12 regions of Uzbekistan with the participation of about 200 business entities. As a result, the share of domestic products in the total purchases of the enterprise was increased to 25 percent.
Uzbekneftegaz also reported that 21 projects provide for the production of products worth 3.14 trillion soums ($301 billion), with a growth rate of 2.4 times within the framework of the localization program for 2021.
