All products of Iran's Shazand Oil Refining Company to meet Euro 5 standards

The quality of all oil products produced by Iran’s Shazand Oil Refining Company will meet Euro 5 standards by the end of next Iranian year (March 21, 2021, to March 21, 2022), Executive Director of the company Gholamhossein Ramazanpour told Shana news agency, Trend reports.

According to Ramazanpour, the quality of gasoline produced by the company meets Euro 4 standards at present. In some cases, gasoline is produced in accordance with Euro 5 standards.

The director added that 50,000 tons of normal hexane have been produced daily since the beginning of the 9th month of the current Iranian year (November 21, 2020). This production was achieved by making certain changes in the isomerization section of the company and without spending any money. This product will bring $55 million worth of revenues to the company per year.

“With the implementation of this project, the daily fuel supply to the company's plant has increased by about 4,000 barrels. As a result, gasoline production increased by 500,000 liters per day,” he said.

Ramazanpour noted that the company produces 16 million liters of gasoline, 12 million liters of diesel, 2,500 tons of liquefied gas, as well as low-sulfur fuel for ships, normal hexane, normal pentane, propylene in accordance with Euro 4 standards.
