Uzbekneftegaz builds units to ensure purity of gas quality of supplied to Uztransgaz JSC

Units for drying gas with zeolites and producing a butane-butane mixture from natural gas are being built at the Gazli gas processing plant of Uzbekneftegaz JSC, Trend reports referring to Uzbekneftegaz JSC.

At the initiative of the Chairman of the Management Board of Uzbekneftegaz JSC Mehriddin Abdullayev, the work on the extraction and processing of natural gas at Gazli gas processing plant has radically changed.

Along with the improvement of the living conditions of workers and the construction of modern equipment, a number of projects have been launched to meet the needs of the population for natural gas and the supply of high-quality gas.

Until today, after amine purification from sulfur compounds at the Gazli gas processing plant, gas was directly sent to the main gas pipelines of Uztransgaz JSC.

Thus, the construction of a plant for drying gas with zeolites and producing a propane-butane mixture from natural gas is currently underway.

At present, 325 tons of zeolite chemical reagents and ceramic balls are loaded onto five adsorbers of the drying plant, and the pipes are cleaned of foreign bodies with technical air.

Uzbekneftegaz notes that putting these devices into operation at the Gazli gas processing plant will ensure the purity and quality of gas supplied to Uztransgaz JSC and consumers via gas pipelines.

In addition, as a result of the launch of a propane-butane mixture production unit, the population of Uzbekistan will receive an additional 80,000 tons of liquid hydrocarbon gas annually.

It was also noted that a device for drying gas with zeolites and devices for producing a propane-butane mixture can be manually or automatically controlled based on an automation system following modern requirements.
