Azerbaijan plays big role in Germany’s policy to diversify energy supplies, German Ambassador to Azerbaijan Wolfgang Manig told Trend.
“Azerbaijan is also connected to the European gas pipeline network, the country contributes a lot to our energy security,” added the ambassador.
He said that German policy is committed to the decarbonization, which means that the use of oil will be reduced in the future, but gas will play a more important role.
“In this regard we are very happy that we have very reliable partner in Azerbaijan,” noted the ambassador.
