Residents of Varketili, Gldani and Mukhiani districts of the capital of Georgia will pay 8 tetri (2.54 cents) more for natural gas from July 1, Trend reports with reference to the Georgian National Energy and Water Supply Regulatory Commission (GNERC).
At the end of May, GNERC revised tariffs for natural gas for Tbilisi Energy, which supplies natural gas to the central districts of the capital.
From June 1, up to 500,000 subscribers of the company are already paying for natural gas by 8 tetri more than before - 53,972 tetri (17,132.48 cents), including VAT.
The commission decided to adjust tariffs for small gas distribution companies. The new tariff will be valid until October 31, 2022, inclusive.
Thus, up to 16,000 "Varketilar" subscribers will pay 57,062 tetri (18,113.34 cents) per 1 cubic meter of gas instead of 48,677 tetri (15,451.67).
The Energosoyuz company, which serves up to 12,000 subscribers in the districts of Gldani and Mukhiani, will pay 57,794 tetri (18,345.70) instead of 49,443 tetri (15,694.82) per 1 cubic meter.
In addition, the tariff for consumer gas from July 1 will increase by 5 tetri for residents of the Senaki municipality in western Georgia.
Up to 9,000 subscribers of the Gasco + gas distribution company will pay 53,351 tetri (16,935.35 cents) per 1 cubic meter instead of 48,301 tetri (15,332.32 cents).
