Uzbekneftegaz increases sulfur export in 6M2021

Uzbekneftegaz JSC from January through June 2021 has exceeded sulfur exports by 78.2 percent, Trend reports with reference to the press service of Uzbekneftegaz JSC.

According to Uzbekneftegaz, as a result of effective implementation of the planned measures, the forecast indicators for 6M2021 year have been exceeded by 12.7 percent. The growth rates in comparison with the corresponding period of the last year amounted to 23 percent.

Also, due to measures organized locally by the organizations that are part of Uzbekneftegaz JSC in 6M2021 export of liquefied gas exceeded by 43.8 percent and sulfur - by 78.2 percent.

It is reported that as a result of close contacts with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan to develop trade relations and expand the geography of exports and negotiations with foreign partners, exports to large manufacturing enterprises in Poland, Sweden, Latin America, Estonia, China and India have been established.

Uzbekneftegaz noted that work is being carried out to further develop trade and economic ties with neighboring countries.

In particular, Uzbekneftegaz JSC trading house has been created for effective use by Afghan businessmen on the territory of the border Termez industrial zone of the Surkhandarya region in order to increase the volume of mutual trade with Uzbekistan and Afghanistan, further liberalize trade, create favorable conditions for wide participation of business entities of the two states in foreign economic activity.

Currently, the growth rate of exports to this country amounts to 27.6 percent compared to the corresponding period last year.

In addition, agreements were signed with Tajikistan and Kyrgyzstan on the export of sulfur, liquefied gas, polymer products, aluminum composite panels, composite gas cylinders for liquefied gas, drip irrigation systems, and work is currently underway to sell these products.

Moreover, it is expected that according to the results of the nine months of this year, the forecasted export figures of Uzbekneftegaz JSC in comparison with the plan will be fulfilled by 5.1 percent.
