The price of RON-92 gasoline in the week of August 6-13 in the Almaty region increased to 178 tenge ($0.42) per liter, the Agency for Protection and Development of Competition said, Trend reports with reference to Kazakh media.
"The maximum price for RON-92 gasoline, according to the monitoring results, at Helios, Petroretail, Gazpromneft Kazakhstan and Sinoil gas stations increased from 175 tenge ($0.41) to 178 tenge ($0.42) per liter on August 6-13," the report says.
The lowest price for RON-92 gasoline is in the Atyrau region; it remained the same - 165-Т166 tenge ($0.39) per liter.
Earlier it was reported that electricity prices will rise in Kazakhstan by an average of 3.5 percent in September
It was also reported that in April 2021, the Department of Energy in Kazakhstan raised the ceiling tariffs for energy-producing organizations by 15 percent. This influenced the prices of electricity supply, tariffs for heat supply, and water supply for the end-user.
