Kazakhstan's President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev has ordered to inspect all local deposits, Trend reports referring to Akorda.

“Our natural resources should be used as efficiently as possible. The government should audit all natural deposits, identify unused deposits for their further development with the involvement of local and foreign investors,” Tokayev noted. “If the deposit is taken for future use, then it should be withdrawn or transferred to the one who is ready to invest [in the deposit].”

The president also called on Kazakh businessmen to reinvest in the domestic economy, adding that the principle of "Earn here - spend there" has been already outdated.
