BAKU, Azerbaijan, May 2. The production of the Iranian Bouali Sina Petrochemical Company increased by 31 percent, over the last Iranian year (March 21, 2021 through March 20, 2022), compared to the preceding Iranian year (March 20, 2020 through March 20, 2021), the head of the company Omid Azemian said, Trend reports citing the company’s website.
According to him, the company produced a total of 1.89 million tons of various products in еру last Iranian year, which is a new record in company’s annual production.
“Meanwhile in the preceding Iranian year, the company's production amounted to 1.43 million tons,” the official said.
Azemian also added that the company's production has increased despite the US sanctions on Iran's oil and petrochemical sector.
“In addition, the company has recorded a 92-percent increase in liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) production, an 84-percent increase in heavy distillate production and a 126-percent increase in gasoline production,” the he noted.
Iran's Bouali Sina Petrochemical Company can produce annually 180,000 tons of benzene, 40,000 tons of liquefied petroleum gas (LPG), 350,000 tons of light naphtha, 499,000 tons of heavy naphtha, 700,000 tons of white oil, various solvents, reformate, and other products.
