BAKU, Azerbaijan, May 25. The sales of Iran's Bouali Sina Petrochemical Company increased by 100 percent in value and 50 percent in volume, over the last Iranian year (March 21, 2021 through March 20, 2022), compared to the preceding Iranian year (March 20, 2020 through March 20, 2021), head of the company's financial affairs department Mohammad Rahimipour said, Trend reports citing the company’s website.

The official said that in total, the company sold about 1.6 million tons of products worth 264 trillion rials (about $6.28 billion) within the last Iranian year.

“Meanwhile, the company's export earnings for last Iranian year amounted to 140 trillion rials (about $3.3 billion), which is an increase of 60 percent compared to the preceding Iranian year," he added.

According to Rahimipour, the company's net profit was 380 trillion rials (about $905 million) last Iranian year. This is an increase of about 70 percent compared to the preceding Iranian year.

The official emphasized that last year, the value of company’s each share also increased by 70 percent compared to the preceding Iranian year.

“In general, the company produced 1.9 million tons of products over last Iranian year, which is an increase of 110 percent compared to the preceding Iranian year," he noted.

Iran's Bouali Sina Petrochemical Company in the Khuzestan Province (south-western Iran) can produce annually 180,000 tons of benzene, 40,000 tons of liquefied petroleum gas (LPG), 350,000 tons of light naphtha, 499,000 tons of heavy naphtha, 700,000 tons of white oil, various solvents, reformate, and other products.
