BAKU, Azerbaijan, June 18. Azerbaijan has increased marketable gas production in from January through May 2022 by 18.5 percent, as compared to the same period in 2021, Trend reports with reference to the country’s Statistical Committee.

Natural gas output stood at 19.639 billion cubic meters, including 14.874 billion cubic meters of marketable gas. The country’s natural gas output rose by 15.5 percent year-on-year.

Reportedly, the country produced 13.933 million tons of crude oil, including condensate in the first five months of 2022, of which 13.894 million tons accounted for marketable oil. As such, Azerbaijan reduced crude oil, including condensate production by 2.6 percent year-on-year. Marketable oil production also dropped by 2.7 percent.

The country produced 34.58 million tons of crude oil, including condensate in 2021, of which 34.51 million tons accounted for marketable oil. Natural gas output stood at 43.86 billion cubic meters, including 32.57 billion cubic meters of marketable gas.
