BAKU, Azerbaijan, January 4. The production of the Iran’s Bouali Sina Petrochemical Company increased by 80,000 tons, during the first nine months of current Iranian year (March 21 through December 21, 2022), compared to the same period last Iranian year, head of the company's financial affairs department Mohammad Rahimipour said, Trend reports citing Shana News Agency.

The official said that in total, the company produced approximately 1.56 million tons of various petrochemical products in 9 months, while the figure stood at about 1.48 million tons over the same period last Iranian year.

As for the sales of the company Rahimipour added that the value of company's sales for 9 months totaled 361 trillion rials (about $8.6 billion), which is an increase of 87 percent compared to the same period last Iranian year.

“Of the mentioned amount, 186 trillion rials (about $4.43 billion) was accounted for the company's domestic sales, which is 124 percent more than the same period last Iranian year,” he noted.

Meanwhile, the remaining 175 trillion rials (about $4.12 billion) was accounted for the company’s exports. The value of the company's exports for 9 months increased by 59 percent compared to the same period last Iranian year.

Iran's Bouali Sina Petrochemical Company in the Khuzestan Province (south-western Iran) can produce annually 180,000 tons of benzene, 40,000 tons of liquefied petroleum gas (LPG), 350,000 tons of light naphtha, 499,000 tons of heavy naphtha, 700,000 tons of white oil, various solvents, reformate, and other products.
