BAKU, Azerbaijan, February 15. The production of Iran’s Bouali Sina Petrochemical Company increased by 5 percent, during the first 10 months of the current Iranian year (March 21, 2022 through January 20, 2023), compared to the same period last Iranian year, Trend reports citing the company’s website.
Overall, the company produced more than 1.72 million tons of various petrochemical products in 10 months.
So, the Bouali Sina Company produced about 727,000 tons of Reformate product within 10 months, which is an increase of 46 percent compared to the company’s production plan.
Also, the company produced more than 505,000 tons of heavy distillate, which is 42 percent more than the production plan.
The company's p-Xylene plant has already started extraordinary production for some time and is ready to be officially put into use. It is estimated that the mentioned plant will bring an annual income of $50 million.
Iran's Bouali Sina Petrochemical Company in the Khuzestan Province (south-western Iran) can produce annually 180,000 tons of benzene, 40,000 tons of liquefied petroleum gas (LPG), 350,000 tons of light naphtha, 499,000 tons of heavy naphtha, 700,000 tons of white oil, various solvents, reformate, and other products.
