ASHGABAT, Turkmenistan, December 8. Turkmenistan has started developing several new gas wells at the 'Uzynada' field, located in the Balkan region in the west of the country, Trend reports.
The relevant drilling work was carried out by experienced specialists responsible for the development of the 'Korpeje' and 'Goturdepe' sites.
In total, the new wells #74, #76, #83 were put into operation produce about 60,000 cubic meters of gas and about 60-70 tons of gas condensate per day.
The work was carried out within the framework of the program for the development of the oil and gas sector of Turkmenistan for the period up to 2030, the implementation of which is also entrusted to the Turkmennebit State Concern.
The Uzynada field is located 74 km from the city of Balkanabad, and in September of this year, 11 research wells were launched on it, which extracts natural gas from the lower red formations (more than 6 kilometers deep).
