BAKU, Azerbaijan, July 26. Azerbaijani gas supplies to Türkiye will be suspended for several days due to maintenance work on the export gas pipeline, Türkiye's BOTAS announced, Trend reports.
"Due to planned maintenance and repair work on the export gas pipeline transporting gas from Shah Deniz, gas supply to Türkiye's national gas distribution network will be interrupted at the Turkgozu entry point from July 31 to August 5, and at the TANAP Seitgazi entry point from August 5 to August 9," the statement reads.
BOTAS assured that measures will be taken during this period to ensure the balance of supply and demand in Türkiye's national gas distribution network.
Türkiye has received gas from Phase-1 of Shah Deniz through the Baku-Tbilisi-Erzurum gas pipeline since 2007, and since 2018, from Phase-2 of Shah Deniz through the TANAP gas pipeline.
