AIOC WILL SHIP OVER 400,000 TONS OF OIL FROM SUPSA IN SEPTEMBER

In September 2005 partners in the Azerbaijan International Operating Company (AIOC), which is involved in the development of Azeri-Chirag-Gunashli fields (ACG), plans to deliver 430,000 tons of oil from the Georgian port of Supsa through four tankers.

According to the same source, BP, an operator of the AIOC, will ship in September from Supsa 215,000 tons of oil through two tankers: 80,000 tons вЂ" on 7-8 September and 135,000 tons вЂ" on 20-21 September. The U.S. ExxonMobil will ship 80,000 tons of oil from Supsa on 15-16 September. 135,000 tons of profit oil fell on the SOCAR, which plans to deliver it on 27-28 September.

The SOCAR is expected to announce a tender on sale of 135,000 tons of oil (1 million barrels) next week.
