Azerbaijan, Baku / Trend / Hungary stands ready to import natural gas from Azerbaijan. The Foreign Minister of Hungary, King Genth, said on 18 May at the meeting with the Minister of the Industry and Energy of Azerbaijan, Natig Aliyev, that Azerbaijan has enough potential to export its gas to Hungary, it was mentioned in a statement from the Ministry.
The meeting was attended by the Hungarian Prime Minister's Advisor for International Affairs, Biro Zoltan, Ambassador of Hungary to Azerbaijan, Ishtvan Sabo, and President of the Hungarian national oil company MOL, Zolt Hernard. The meeting also covered MOL's participation in the oil exploration and operation works in Azerbaijan.
