Iran’s Central Bank: 6.8B euros provided for imports in NIMA system

As much as 6.8 billion euros have been provided for imports of goods and services needed for Iran in the Forex Management Integrated System (NIMA) of the Central Bank of Iran since its inception, Trend reports citing the bank’s Public Relations Department.

As much as 1.353 million euros of this amount have been ensured for the imports of electrical, electronics and communication products, while 1.205 million euros have been ensured for car and spare parts for them.

Other products imported for foreign currency are as follows:

Tire, plastic, chemical and cellulose products worth 1.132 million euros, transportation equipment worth 677 million euros, mining industry products worth 435 million euros, agriculture products worth 253 million euros, food, beverage and tobacco products worth 254 million euros, petrochemical and liquefied gas worth 179 million euros, metal products and household goods worth 129 million euros, mining materials worth 138 million euros, weaving, leather and clothing worth 113 million euros, other items worth 966 million euros.
