Some 188,977 shares of Bank of Georgia were sold for 2.4 million pounds on the London Stock Exchange, where the shares of four Georgian companies are quoted, Trend reports citing Georgian media.
As reported, 88,000 shares of Georgia Capital Bank were sold for 906,000 pounds, 97,000 shares of Georgia Healthcare Group - for 196,000 pounds, and 301,000 shares of TBC Bank were sold for 3.7 million pounds.
In terms of their value, only Bank of Georgia JSC completed the auction with positive results, while the amount of shares of three other participants decreased.
According to Georgia's Galt & Taggart investment company, the value of securities of Bank of Georgia stands at 658 million pounds, of Georgia Capital Bank - 376 million pounds, of Georgia Healthcare Group - 264 million pounds, and the value of securities of TBC Bank amounts to 679 million pounds.
