Domestic Producer Price Index for Industrial Products increases in Georgia

The Domestic Producer Price Index for Industrial Products (DPPI) increased by 0.8 percent in September 2019 in Georgia compared to August 2019, Trend reports via the Georgian National Statistics Office (Geostat).

In the mentioned period the prices went up for manufactured products by 0.8 percent and for electrical energy, gas, stream and hot water by 1 percent.

Compared to September 2018, the DPPI increased by 10.4 percent. There was an increase in the prices for manufactured products (12.6 percent), products from mining and quarrying (4.6 percent), also for electrical energy, gas, stream and hot water (1.9 percent).

The DPPI increased by 1.9 percent in August 2019 compared to July 2019.

In the mentioned period the prices went up for manufactured products by 1.9 percent and for electrical energy, gas, stream and hot water by 2.3 percent.

Compared to August 2018 the DPPI increased by 10.4 percent. There was an increase in the prices for manufactured products (12.7 percent), products from mining (5.7 percent), also for electrical energy, gas, steam and hot water (1.1 percent).
