Uzbekistan reveals data on its Anti-Crisis Fund activities

Revenues of Anti-Crisis Fund in Uzbekistan made up 7.4 trillion soum ($727.2 million) as of May 27, 2020, Trend reports citing the country's Ministry of Finance.

Of the mentioned amount, 7.3 trillion soum ($717.4 million) were soft loans of international financial institutions, 123.5 billion soum ($12.1 million) were allocated from the state budget.

Of the full amount, 573 billion soum ($56.3 million) was allocated from the fund to the Agency for Sanitary and Epidemiological Well-being. In total, expenditures in this sector amounted to 487 billion soum ($47.8 million).

Expenditures on social sector made up 294 billion soum ($28.8 million).

Expenditures on support to economic sectors made up 1.4 trillion soum ($137.5 million). Of these, 500 billion soum ($49.1 million) was subsidized to Thermal Power Plants of Uzbekistan, 401 billion soum ($39.4 million) by Uzbekneftegaz.

A loan of 101 billion soum ($9.9 million) was granted to Uzbekistan Airports, 406 billion ($39.9 million) - to Uzbekistan Airways, 40 billion ($3.9 million) - to cover the primary expenses of the Birinchi Mechanical Rubber Goods Factory LLC.

A total of 504 billion soum ($49.5 million) was allocated for water supply and irrigation measures. Of these, 246 billion soum ($24.1 million) was allocated for construction and reconstruction of irrigation facilities, 57 billion ($5.6 million) - for construction of Inshoot facility in Zafarabad district of the Jizzakh region, 14 billion soum ($1.3 million) was transferred to the Water Ministry for irrigation activities in Jizzakh region.

Besides, 61 billion soum ($5.9 million) made up a loan for Regional Water Supply of Uzbekistan, 53 billion soum ($5.2 million) - for the State Committee of Ecology. For Ministry of Housing and Communal Services, Fund allocated 39 billion soum ($3.8 million) for water supply and sewerage systems and to Fund for Saving the Aral Sea - 10 billion soum ($982.801).
