Azerbaijan’s BTB Bank increased the volume of total assets by 18.6 percent in 1H2020 compared to the same period last year, Trend reports with reference to the bank’s financial report.

The bank’s total assets amounted to 360.33 million manat (over $212 million) at the end of June, which is by 56.4 million manat ($33.1 million) more than last year.

The main share in the structure of assets accounts for the loan portfolio (58.3 percent), the volume of which increased by 17.2 percent and reached 209.9 million manat ($123.4 million).

Deposits in banks and financial institutions increased by 3.5 times over the reporting period, reaching 30.9 million manat ($18.1 million). Investments in securities increased by 33.4 percent compared to the end of December last year, amounting to 25.2 million manat ($14.8 million).

Over 3.1 percent of total assets are held in cash and cash equivalents, which also increased by 6.4 percent, amounting to 21.5 million manat ($12.6 million).

In the structure of long-term assets, real estate, equipment and intangible assets remained almost unchanged, amounting to 67.6 million manat ($39.7 million). Other financial assets increased by 11.1 percent compared to the same period last year, amounting to 5.8 million manat ($3.4 million).

BTB Bank was established in 2010 and currently has 17 service points.
