Azerbaijan's Uni Capital investment company boosts its assets

The total assets of Azerbaijan’s Uni Kapital investment company spiked by 55.5 percent for the year as of end of 2019, Trend reports referring to the company’s annual financial statement.

According to the statement, total assets exceeded 2 million manat ($1.2 million), reaching 5.8 million manat ($3.4 million).

The biggest part in the structure of assets, about 59.8 percent, accounted for the main brokerage funds receivable, the volume of which soared by almost 1.9 times, totally reaching 3.4 million manat ($2 million).

At the same time, 17.1 percent of the assets accounted for restricted deposits, the total amount of which grew year-on-year by 1.5 times up to nearly 1 million manat ($588,200).

The volume of cash slid by 8.8 percent amounting to 683,000 manat ($401,700), which is 0.1 percent of the assets. The acquired short-term investment securities made up 500,000 manat ($294,100), almost doubling compared to the end of previous year. Other short-term assets amounted to 48,100 manat ($28,290).

In the structure of long-term assets, real estate and equipment amounted to 25,000 manat or $14,710 (down 39 percent). Intangible assets declined by 11.8 percent amounting to 15,000 manat ($8,820).
The acquired long-term investment securities made up 60,000 manat ($35,290), remaining unchanged compared to the late 2018. Other long-term assets amounted to 10,100 manat ($5,940).
