The volume of lending to the trade and services sector in Azerbaijan as of early September 2020 amounted to 2.4 billion manat ($1.4 billion), Trend reports citing the Central Bank of Azerbaijan (CBA).
According to CBA, the given figure increased by 96.6 million manat ($56.8 million) or 4.2 percent over the year. Since the beginning of 2020, this figure has decreased by 3.9 percent or by 96.2 million manat ($56.5 million).
The specific share of lending to this sector in lending to the real sector made up 16.3 percent, which is 0.3 percentage points less compared to the same period of last year.
The total volume of lending to the real sector as of September 1 amounted to 14.7 billion manat ($8.64 billion).
