Revenues of the state budget of Azerbaijan amounted to 17.9 billion manat ($10.5 billion) in the first nine months of 2020, and exceeded the forecasted figure by 1.2 percent or 206.5 million manat ($121.4 million), Trend reports citing the Azerbaijani Ministry of Finance.
According to the ministry, the state budget expenditures for the reporting period amounted to 18.6 billion manat. Thus, a deficit of 677.6 million manat ($398.5 million) was appeared in the budget.
The state budget received 5.67 billion manat ($3.33 billion) from the State Tax Service under the Azerbaijani Ministry of Economy, which exceeds the forecast by 155.6 million manat ($91.5 million) or 2.8 percent. Some 74.9 percent or 4.25 billion manat ($2.5 billion) of these funds falls to the share of receipts from the country’s non-oil sector, which exceeds the same period of 2019 by 321.1 million manat ($188.8 million).
The state budget revenues for the third quarter of 2020 amounted to 5.9 billion manat ($3.49 billion).
