Iran increase loans provided to manufacturers in Bushehr Province

The number of loans issued to increase manufacturing in the Bushehr Province (southern Iran) increased by 80 percent in the last Iranian year (from March 20, 2020, through March 20, 2021), compared to the preceding Iranian year (from March 21, 2019, through March 19, 2020), said Hossein Hosseini, Chairman of Industry, Mine, and Trade Organization of Bushehr Province, Trend reports citing the organization.

The chairman said that a total of 2.7 trillion rials (about $64.2 million) worth of loans were issued to 198 enterprises in Bushehr Province in the last Iranian year. While in the preceding Iranian year, 1.5 trillion rials (about $35.7 million) worth of loans was issued to 143 enterprises.

Hosseini added that in addition, the names of 33 manufacturers were announced to the bank and several loans will be issued to them.

“In general, 2.11 trillion rials (about $50.2 million) worth of loans in connection with employment were issued to 31 enterprises in Bushehr Province over the past two years (from March 21, 2019, through March 20, 2021),” he noted.

Hosseini stressed that at the same time, the activities of 27 manufacturing enterprises were restored in Bushehr Province last year. As well, a number of steps are being taken in the province to solve several problems of manufacturing enterprises (financial problems, social security, water, electricity, and gas supply, etc.).
