The International Monetary Fund (IMF) predicted fiscal breakeven oil price for Azerbaijan in 2021 to reach $82.5 per barrel, Trend reports citing the IMF April report on the Middle East and Central Asia Regional Economic Outlook.
According to the report, in 2022, this figure for Azerbaijan will amount to $66.4 per barrel.
At the same time, the external breakeven oil price for Azerbaijan this year will amount to $98.6 per barrel, and in 2022 - $98, the IMF report reads.
In the state budget of Azerbaijan for 2021, the oil price is set at $40 per barrel.
