By Fakhri Vakilov – Trend:

Uzbekistan’s agricultural machinery supplier, Uzagroleasing company received $1.4 million of net profit for the six months of 2021, which is 1.5 percent more than in the same period last year ($1.39 million), Trend reports citing Uzbekistan’s Unified portal of corporate information.

During the period under review, the organization's revenue amounted to $11.9 million, which is 17.4 percent higher than last year's indicators.

In accordance with the Leasing Association of Uzbekistan (LAU), Uzagroleasing is the leader among leasing companies in terms of the volume of new transactions ($43 million) according to the results of the first half of the year.

Note that the company's shares are traded on Uzbekistan Republican Stock Exchange "Toshkent". The last deal with common securities took place on August 18 at $0.19 per share.

The leasing portfolio of companies and banks of Uzbekistan for six months fell from $534.9 million to $512.3 million (by 4.28 percent). However, LAU predicts that the situation will improve in the second half of the year since the bulk of new transactions usually take place from July to December. Therefore, the organization's experts predict portfolio growth by 5-10 percent by the end of the year.
