Some 60 percent of the loan portfolio of Yapi Kredi Bank Azerbaijan accounts for corporate credits, the bank’s Board Chairman Cenk Yuksel told Trend on Sept.2.
According to Yuksel, 23 percent of the client portfolio falls on consumer loans, 10 percent - on credit cards, and seven percent - on loans to small and medium-sized businesses.
"For us, both corporate clients and entrepreneurs and physical clients are equally important. Yapi Kredi Bank Azerbaijan applies an adequate approach to all of them when determining the terms of lending," he said.
He also noted that the bank doesn’t apply a single interest rate policy in lending to businesses. The cost of financing is calculated according to the needs of each company applying for a business loan, as well as the term of the loan, the structure of the company, the field of activity, and the purpose.
“On the most favorable market conditions, loans are provided both in national and foreign currencies. The bank meets the financial requirements of many international companies through its global banking practice,” the official added.
"As an example, it can be noted that we provide support to companies involved in recent reconstruction work on the liberated lands of Azerbaijan," concluded Yuksel.
