The volume of Azerbaijan's transactions with foreign countries on reinvested (secondary) income increased by 12.3 percent or $146 million from January through September 2021 and reached $1.3 billion, Trend reports citing the Central Bank of Azerbaijan (CBA).
The revenues reached $0.8 billion while payments - $0.5 billion.
About 91.2 percent in the balance of secondary income accounted for money transfers of individuals from abroad, seven percent - for the volume of humanitarian goods imported into the country, 1.8 percent - for other revenues.
Money transfers to Azerbaijan increased by $90.6 million or 13.3 percent from January through September 2021 compared to the same period of last year and reached $772.5 million.
Thus, money transfers from Azerbaijan abroad increased by five percent or $19.2 million from January through September 2021 to $402.3 million.
During the reporting period, the positive balance on money transfers in Azerbaijan reached $370.2 million. In general, the balance of transactions on secondary income increased by 21 percent and reached $363.3 million, remaining positive.
