BAKU, Azerbaijan, October 6. The total fees of 10 leading Azerbaijani insurance companies amounted to 601 million manat ($353.5 million) or 91.77 percent of total insurance fees from January through August 2022, Trend reports via the Central Bank of Azerbaijan (CBA).
According to CBA, the list of top 10 companies in terms of fees was headed by PASHA Life, which accounted for 42.6 percent of fees for the reporting period.
The company's fees amounted to 278.9 million manat ($164 million) in the first eight months of 2022.
PASHA Insurance with total insurance fees of 153.5 million manat or $90.3 million (23.44 percent of all fees) ranked second, and Ateshgah Life with fees of 33.17 million manat or $19.5 million (5.06 percent of all fees) - third.
Total fees of all insurance companies in Azerbaijan amounted to 654.9 million manat ($385.2 million) from January through August this year.
