BAKU, Azerbaijan, February 13. The value of foreign assets of the Central Bank of Iran (CBI), other Iranian banks and financial institutions amounted to 8.8 quadrillion rials (about $210 billion) at the end of the 8th month of the current Iranian year (November 21, 2022), Trend reports via the statistics of the Central Bank of Iran (CBI).

This is an increase of about 25 percent compared to the same period the last Iranian year. So, the figure was 7.04 quadrillion rials (about $168 billion) in the same period in the last Iranian year.

Meanwhile, the value of foreign assets of the Central Bank of Iran for the reporting period amounted to approximately 5.9 quadrillion rials (about $140 billion), which is an increase of 17.9 percent compared to the same period the last Iranian year.

The figure stood at 5 quadrillion rials (about $119 billion) in the same period the last Iranian year.

Also, the value of foreign assets of other banks and financial institutions in Iran for the reporting period amounted to approximately 2.9 quadrillion rials (about $69 billion), which is an increase of 42.2 percent compared to the same period the last Iranian year. This figure was 2.04 quadrillion rials (about $48.6 billion) in the same period the last Iranian year.
