Azerbaijan, Baku / Trend / Azerbaijani Communications and IT Minister Ali Abbasov will participate in the 38th meeting of the communication administration of the Regional Commonwealth in the field of Communications (RCC) and the 12th meeting of the CIS Coordinating Council on Informatization attached to the RCC which will take place in Astana on 12 and 13 November, the Ministry reported.
The draft agenda of the meeting of RCC communication administration heads has not been yet publicized.
Last meeting of the RCC communication administration took place in Yurmala, Latvia, at the end of May and involved delegates from Azerbaijan, Armenia, Belarus, Georgia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Moldova, Russia, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan, Ukraine and RCC observers.
The meeting of the Coordinating Council on Informatization will discuss implementation of state services on the basis of ICT in CIS countries, key directions in cooperation among CIS countries in introduction of IT passport and visa documents of new format, implementation of inter-governmental program on establishment of informational and marketing centres in 2007 for advancement of trades and services to the markets of CIS countries.
