Azerbaijan, Baku, 2 April / Trend corr S. Babayeva/ The Azerbaijani Communications and IT Ministry plans to complete the development of initial version of the state program Electronic Azerbaijan intended for 2009-2012 by summer.
The decision on continuation of the state program was taken at the meeting of Coordinating Council of the State Program headed by the Deputy Communications Minister Iltimas Mammadov at the end of March.
The program will reflect the priorities in development of the communications and IT field in Azerbaijan for further three years.
The first state program on development of Communications and IT in Azerbaijan (Electronic Azerbaijan) was approved by President Ilham Aliyev in October 2005 and covered the period from 2005 to 2008.
