Baku to mull RCC's preparations for ITU Plenipotentiary Conference

The working group on working with the International Telecommunication Union (ITU) will consider the preparation of the Regional Commonwealth of Communications (RCC) for the forthcoming ITU Plenipotentiary Conference in Baku Sept.7-9, said the RCC.

The agenda of the upcoming meeting also includes discussion of the outcome of the World Telecommunication Development Conference ITU 2010, the issues on preparation for the 2012 ITU Forums - World Assembly on standardizing communication and the World Conference on International Telecommunications.

The 29th/35th joint meeting of the RCC Commission on Regulation of Frequency Spectrum Use and EMC of Radioelectronic Facilities and RCC Commission for Satellite Communication, TV and Sound Broadcasting will also take place in Baku Sept.7-9.

The agenda of the meeting include the questions of the Commissions actions in preparations of recommendatory documents, consideration of results of the Experts Group's work on  preparation of fragments of the Common Table of Frequency Allocations in the band 29.7-3400 MHz, on working out of the software "Recommendations of coordination frequency notices in range of frequencies above  29,7 MHz", discussion of course on digital broadcasting implementation of RCC participants countries, preparation  RCC CAs for WRC-12.

Also participants of the meeting will discuss a questions on studying topical directions of satellite communication development and  redistribution of the radio-frequency resource of synchronous sound broadcasting networks of the former USSR in the range of long and medium waves.
