Bakcell, the first mobile operator in Azerbaijan, introduces a new 3.5G Data Card package for connection to the Internet. The cost of the new 3.5 Data Card package that includes a USB-modem - 3.5 G Bakcell Data Card and SIM card is 50 AZN. Customers can spend 50 AZN balance to purchase one of the three 3.5 G tariff plans for traffic 500 MB, 1 GB or 5 GB. The 500 MB GPRS package costs 20 manat, 1 GB costs 25 manat and 5 GB is equal to 35 manat, which may be used for 30 days. To activate the GPRS packages, it is necessary to send a short message to 5934 with the figure 500, 1,000 or 5,000 in the text.
The new tariff plan also allows sending and receiving SMS text messages. The cost of an SMS within the country is 0.04 AZN, outside the country is 0.073 AZN. New Data Card packages are available in all Bakcell Customer Service Centers, BakcellIM Customer Care and Sales Centers and dealer shops.
