Azerbaijani company SINAM will present a new option of navigation technology "Yollar" in autumn, the company told Trend on Aug. 14.

"Yollar" is designed for smartphones, tablets and GPS-navigators and allows users to plan the route to their destination. The app works autonomously without internet, which eliminates extra costs. The maps are stored on the device.

Currently the innovation is being tested internally and the issue of its launch is purely commercial.

Users of "Yollar" will be able to use all the basic functions for minimum payment (one to two manats) during a limited period of time (one or two weeks) when traveling to Georgia or Turkey.

"Technically speaking, the new functionality is fully operational. The only issue is that there is a certain conflict of interest between the "Yollar" and our another project, similar in functionality. We are considering their combination. When it comes to updating the navigation maps, our Turkish partner regularly delivers the necessary updates of Turkey's maps. Now we are updating Georgia's map integrated into the navigation platform and the navigation map of Azerbaijan is constantly updated," the company said.
