Electronic resources that provide information and consulting services to farmers are being improved in Azerbaijan, Trend reports with reference to the Ministry of Agriculture of Azerbaijan.
Providing information and consulting services to farmers is one of the main areas that ensure the development of agriculture, the report says.
"Structural divisions of Azerbaijani Ministry of Agriculture conduct trainings in various areas of the agricultural sector. Farmers participating in the trainings are offered a variety of directions for organizing agricultural activities, innovations in agricultural legislation, and other services, " the information says.
The electronic resources, used to expand information and consulting services, are constantly being improved. Also on the electronic resource аgroinfo.az farmers can get acquainted with educational articles and training materials on the most relevant issues of crop production and animal husbandry.
"The electronic resource contains materials on the use of the electronic agricultural information system, the rules of crop production, animal husbandry, operation and safety of agricultural machinery, diseases and pests of plants and animals and the rules for combating them. Farmers, using an electronic resource, can get acquainted with both training materials and the schedule of trainings on topics of interest to them," the ministry stressed.
