Revenues from mobile communication and information services in Azerbaijan from January through April 2021 amounted to 716.2 million manat ($421.3 million), Trend reports citing the country’s State Statistical Committee.
According to the committee, revenues of the mobile communications sector increased by 3.8 percent on annual basis and amounted to 300.9 million manat ($177 million), or 42 percent of all revenues of the telecommunications market.
Of the total volume of information and communication services, 75.2 percent fell on the share of services rendered to the population. At the same time, 79.6 percent of the income received in the sector fell to the share of non-state enterprises.
