BAKU, Azerbaijan, October 31. Azerbaijan's Azercosmos OJSC’s total income from the export of satellite and telecommunication services amounted to $19.3 million from January through September 2022, Trend reports via Center for Analysis of Economic Reforms and Communication of Azerbaijan.

In the reporting period, the share of export of services in the total income of Azercosmos amounted to 82 percent.

Azercosmos OJSC exported satellite and telecommunication services to such countries as the UK ($5 million), France ($3.9 million), Luxembourg ($3.3 million), UAE ($1.8 million), and Pakistan ($1.1 million ) from January through September 2022.

In September 2022, the satellite operator exported services worth $2.1 million to 35 countries in total.

The company owns two communication satellites – Azerspace-1 and Azerspace-2, as well as low-orbit Azersky satellite.

The total income of Azercosmos OJSC from the export of satellite and telecommunications services amounted to $45.3 million in 2021, which was $200,000 more than in 2020.
