BAKU, Azerbaijan, March 27. The revenues from mobile communication and information services in Azerbaijan amounted to 459.3 million manat ($270.18 million) in February 2023, up by 20.45 percent on annual basis, the State Statistical Committee told Trend.
According to the committee,37.8 percent (173.7 million manat or $102.18 million) of the total revenues accounted for the telecommunications market (mobile operators).
During the reporting month, services rendered to the population made up 71.2 percent of total communication and information services (over 327 million manat or $192.3 million).
Following the 2022 results, revenues of Azerbaijani mobile operators totaled $2.7 billion manat ($1.58 billion), increasing by 14.8 percent compared to 2021. There are three major mobile phone operators currently in Azerbaijan: Azercell, Bakcell and Nar (Brand of Azerfon). Azercell, Bakcell and Nar offer 2G, 3G and 4G services.
