BAKU, Azerbaijan, April 25. The share of Android-run devices in Azerbaijan in March 2023 increased by 3.77 percent compared to February and totaled 59.69 percent, Trend reports citing Statcounter’s Global Stats data.
Windows OS (Microsoft) ranked second with a share of 20.74 percent, which is 6.87 percent less compared to the previous month.
Apple's iOS operating system ranked third. Its share increased by 1.87 percent to 13.25 percent in March this year.
The share of macOS X (Apple) in the local market totaled 2.14 percent in the reporting month (an increase of 0.03 percent).
The less popular operating systems in Azerbaijan were Linux – 0.91 percent, and other operating systems – 3.27 percent.
Android is an open-source mobile operating system that is primarily made for touchscreen mobile devices like smartphones and tablets. It is built on a modified version of the Linux kernel.
