The report regarding the activity of the Ministry of Communications and Information Technologies of Azerbaijan over the period of 2004-2005 was published. The report reflects 68-paper bulletin consisting of five chapters, Trend reports with reference to the press-service of the same ministry. It starts with the words of Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev - Lets turn black gold into human gold and continues with opinions of the minister of communications and information technologies Ali Abbasov regarding the works done for two years, and the future measures and functions.
The first chapter deals with the history of creation of the ministry, its two-year activity and primary goals and functions.
The second chapter has been dedicated to various economic indicators, including the indicator of the volume of postal and telecommunicational services. The third chapter under the title of Results achieved in the sphere of communications and information technologies in 2004-2005s reflects tables and schedules demonstrating the works done in the sphere of telecommunications, post and TV and broadcasting. The next chapter includes financial-economical indicators of the same ministry and its legislative and regulative activities and measures held for realizing the programs Electronic government, international relations of the ministry, as well as charitable works.
The last chapter was dedicated to the two-year activity of the enterprises of the ministry Production Units Aztelekom, Teleradio, BTRIB, State Enterprise Azerpocht, state department for radio frequency, center for international relations and account and the company Azermarka.
