RoamCELL is Available for Sim Sim Subscribers

Azerbaijan, Baku / Trend / From now on Sim Sim subscribers of Azerbaijan's mobile operator Azercell Telecom will have an opportunity to take advantage of the RoamCELL service while traveling abroad. For the time being Sim Sim subscribers will be able to use the service within Turkcell network coverage area, the Company reports. However, the list of operators is to be expanded soon. You only need to dial before leaving for a vacation to activate the service.

Diverted calls are double charged as both incoming and outgoing calls.

Azercell short numbers (except for 6060, 6061, 6062 and 2002, dialed through +99450 prefix) are inactive. Fees for the calls to numbers 6060, 6061, 6062 and 2002 are charged as the same for the calls made to Azerbaijan

Discount tariffs for the calls to "Dost-Tany?" numbers are inapplicable while using the roaming service abroad.

Calls made to any other direction not mentioned in this table will be charged at highest costs mentioned herein.

International calling service (VoIP) is inactive within the Turkcell network.

GPRS traffic fee and messages to short numbers will be applied after activation of these services.

Today, the number of Azercell's subscribers exceeds 2.5 mln. The company covers 78% of the territory and 99% of the population of Azerbaijan with its mobile communication network.

Azercell JSC was established on 19 January 1996 by Turkcell Iletisim Hizmetleri A.S. and the Azerbaijan Ministry of Telecommunications.

Azercell Telekom is a joint venture of the Azerbaijani Telecommunication and IT Ministry (35.7%) and Fintur Holdings BV (64.3 %), with 58.55% belonging to TeliaSonera and 41.45% to Turkcell.
