Georgia exported berries worth $977,000 from January through November 2019, Trend reports with reference to National Statistical Office of Georgia (Geostat).
According to Geostat, the country exported 198.8 tons of berries in this period.
As reported, Russia was the major export market for Georgian berries accounting to $818,200 of the exports. United Arab Emirates (UAE) ranked second ($97,500).
In the reporting period, top ten exporter companies included companies such as LLC Roli, JC Geofresh, LLC Goldens Georgian Fruits, LLC Frutilia, LLC Georgian Fruit Exports, LLC Frustar, LLC Agroline, LLC Blueberry, LLC Georgia Impex Logistics and LLC Best Fruit.
The value of Georgia’s berry exports stood at $445,500 in 2018 and amounted to $477,000 in 2017.
