Uzbekistan to create recreational area in Aydar-Arnasay and Tudakul lakes

The territory of the recreational Aydar-Arnasay and Tudakul lakes will be created in order to develop the tourism potential of the Jizzakh and Navoi regions, Trend reports with reference to the Ministry of Justice of Uzbekistan.

It was noted that the decision was made in accordance with the decree of the government of Uzbekistan on measures for the development of water recreation and beach tourism in Uzbekistan. Thus, the Concept for the development of tourism on the territory of recreational lakes for 2021-2025 was approved.

According to the ministry, the transfer of land plots on the territory of recreational lakes to entrepreneurs, the implementation of construction and installation projects on them is subject to mandatory approval by the Ministry of Tourism and Sports.

It is reported that an information center and modern parking will be organized at the entrance to the territory of the recreational lakes. Also, in order to ensure the safety of visitors on the territory of the recreational lakes, the work of a rescue team will be organized.

Due to the implementation of the concept approved by the resolution, the following results will be achieved in three stages, each of which is designed for five years.

At the first stage, six accommodation facilities with a total capacity of 204 places, as well as ecotourism, hunting and water recreation facilities will be created on the territory

At the second stage, new tourist zones, accommodation facilities, medical institutions, and sports facilities will be built on an area of ​​33,000 hectares around Aydar Lake.

At the third stage, accommodation facilities for 300 places and sites for sports events will be created, a parking lot for 1,200 places and a shopping area will be built.

The ministry noted that the territory of recreational lakes and 271 kilometers of roads leading to it will be repaired, and then construction work will be carried out.
