Egyptian airline to increase regular flights to Uzbekistan

Uzbekistan and Egypt have agreed to increase the number of regular flights from Cairo and Sharm El-Sheikh to Tashkent and Samarkand, Trend reports referring to the State Committee of Uzbekistan for Tourism Development.

The issue was discussed during the meeting of the Deputy Chairman of the State Committee for Tourism Ulugbek Azamov with the head of the Egyptian airline Air Cairo Hussein Sharif, the first secretary of the Egyptian embassy in Uzbekistan Khalid Muhammad Fikri, and general manager of Egyptian Lucky tours travel agency and MP Yosri Hussein Alilar

The sides discussed issues of strengthening cooperation between the two countries, as well as increasing the number of flights between Uzbekistan and Egypt and promoting the tourism potential of the two countries.

In particular, an agreement was reached with the management of Air Cairo to increase the number of regular flights from Cairo and Sharm El-Sheikh to Tashkent and Samarkand, as well as to open new flights.

In addition, the Egyptian side offered cooperation in training qualified specialists in the field of tourism in Uzbekistan.
